Rentel demand up by 40% 2008-08-05	The Uk Property Shop, the National Directory of estate Agenst, reported in their proerty news (item 00714) in July 2008 of a demand for rental accommodation was up by neaarly 40% in June, says Your Move.... .....The overall the total lease commencement for 2008 is some 34 per cent higher compared to the same period in 2007. This is a direct result of the crfedit crunch and the difficulty young buyers currently face in getting onto the property ladder. With tenant demand rising the potential for buy-to-let is increasing. Investors wilth cash to spare are now in a position to capatilise on lower prices and the potential for higher yields. BID 2007-05-26	Jacqueline Edwards is pleased to confirm that she is actively involved in the town centre BID (Blackpool in Development). The town cenre is undergoing improvemnets and changes for the benefit of residents and vistiors. Jacqueline also acts as chairperson for the small and independant business and welcomes any comments with regard to the town centre.

Tenant Deposit Scheme 2007-04-12	Mark Knight Property, in line with current leglislation, have applied to join TDS Limited, an insurance based scheme. for the collection and holding of tenants deposits. Estate Agent 2006-06-28	Jacqueline Edwards, upon passing all four exams, has now received a technical award in the sale of ressidential property.

Licensing 2006-06-26	A new license comes into force on 3rd July 2006. All landlords who have a pfoperty with more tha five people living at the address and or two or more units need further advise from the council. they can be contacted pn 01253 478442/478477. All our landlords will have written to under seperate cover with regard to this.

Pensions and the rental market 2005-04-15	The Chancellor has has confirmed that his proposed inclusion of residential properties within individuals' private pensions, in addition to commercial properties that are currently allowed, is to go ahead from April 2006. This could flood extra money into the property market, and demand could outstrip supply, especially in areas, such as Blackpool, with a high rental demand. For more information contact our office.

HMO (Houses in Multiple Occupancy)	'The definition of the HMO has always been vague' as reported by the NAEA. The housing act 2004 is intended to clear up this confusion and an article has been written by the NAEA explaining the definition in more detail and a copy of this is available from our office.
